Last week I showed you my last bits of (unexpected) work on my flag quilt, which made it back up and hanging the morning of Founding Farmers' grand opening. Once it was in place, I stepped back to take in the whole look of the room (and shot many many pictures, of course) and grinned from ear to ear. Clearly the designers had a vision for this space and to see it all come together on opening day was beyond exciting. But better yet, it was apparent that they'd coordinated and executed the theme across many different artists, which was no small feat I'm sure. And I can tell you that every step of the way, I felt valued and respected for my vision, my skills, and my individual contribution to the whole. I have no doubt that the other contributing artists had the same experience, which is a real testament to both Grizform Design Architects and Founding Farmers.
So if you're not in the local area, or you are and can't score a reservation quite yet, I hope you enjoy this visual feast, celebrating the handmade work of local artists featured in the Founding Farmers Tysons location.
